Welcome to Manor Park Sailing Club

Situated in idyllic surroundings in the Staffordshire countryside, Manor Park Sailing Club is just a stones throw from the village of Kings Bromley and the perfect place to enjoy sailing with all of the family – whether wanting to learn or wanting to try some racing. From Kids to Adults and everyone in between. Outdoors, fresh air, active, sociable – and all at a cost far less than many would imagine.

We have 3 interconnected lakes to sail on totalling approx. 75 Acres of water.

We focus on making sailing a sport for all and are renowned for our training – for both Juniors, Adults and Families.

All of our training is carried out by qualified RYA Instructors,(We have both male and female instructors both young and older) so you can be assured that you will receive a high standard of instruction with plenty of time on the water to hone your skills.

Junior sailors can start from 7yrs old and there is no upper age limit for Adults! – just be prepared to have a lot of fun.

For the more competitive amongst us, Racing takes place every Saturday with a very relaxed and inclusive atmosphere in keeping with the ethos that is at the heart of MPSC – “Fun & family first”.

Manor Park secures a Quest dinghy from John Merricks Sailing Trust!

Wow! A brand new boat !! As MPSC members may be aware, with thanks to the tireless work of our fund raisers, in November 2020 our club was awarded a £5,000 grant by the John Merricks Sailing Trust towards a new dinghy. Thankyou to The Postcode Lottery!

Manor Park Sailing Club were awarded £2,000 from the PostCode Lottery at end of June 2021for the replacement of the leaking s/h safety boat used by the Manor Park Radio Sailing Club and the Rugeley Model Boat Club. The brand new RED Whaly 310 rigid safety boat was collected and put into use in time for the August National MYA 2 day event, with 31 entries (from all over the UK) plus our own members. More »
